Delivery Policy

1. General Information

This Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed via our online bookstore for hardcover, paperback and eBook formats.

  • Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (UK time)

2. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver physical books (hardcover and paperback) to:

  • United Kingdom – all mainland addresses and most UK islands
  • International – selected countries (shown at checkout)

If delivery to your country or region is not available at checkout, please contact us and we will advise if we can arrange a special shipment.


3. Delivery Methods & Timeframes

3.1 United Kingdom

  • Standard Delivery
    • Estimated delivery: 2–7 working days after dispatch
    • Sent via Royal Mail or a courier service
  • Express / Next-Day Delivery (where available)
    • Orders placed before our daily cut‑off (Mon–Fri) are usually dispatched the same day for delivery on the next working day
    • Not guaranteed to certain remote areas

3.2 International Delivery

  • Standard International Delivery
    • Estimated delivery: 7–21 working days after dispatch, depending on destination
    • May be subject to local customs checks and delays

All delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. External factors (e.g. postal delays, adverse weather, customs processing, strikes) may affect delivery dates.


4. Processing & Dispatch Times

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
  • Orders placed outside working hours, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
  • During busy periods (sales, promotions, seasonal peaks) processing times may be slightly longer.

5. Delivery Charges

  • Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on:
    • Delivery address (UK or international)
    • Delivery method (standard or express, where available)
    • Order weight and size

Any applicable delivery charge will be clearly displayed before you confirm your order.


6. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

For deliveries outside the United Kingdom:

  • Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by the destination country.
  • These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs and are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Customs policies vary widely; please contact your local customs office for more information.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

7. eBook Delivery

  • eBooks are delivered digitally, not physically.
  • After successful payment, you will receive:
    • download link and/or
    • Access to your eBook via your customer account or email

Access is usually provided immediately after purchase. In rare cases, it can take up to a few hours due to technical or processing issues.

Please ensure you provide a correct and active email address at checkout.


8. Failed Delivery & Incorrect Address

  • Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are accurate at the time of ordering.
  • If a parcel is returned to us due to:
    • Incorrect or incomplete address
    • Repeated failed delivery attempts
    • Non‑collection from a pickup point or post office
      we will contact you to arrange re‑delivery. Additional shipping charges may apply.

If you realise you have entered incorrect details, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will do our best to amend the details.


9. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

  • If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please:
    1. Check with neighbours or your local delivery office;
    2. Verify the tracking information (if provided); and
    3. Contact us with your order number.
  • Lost items:
    We will investigate with the courier/postal service. This may take several working days. Once declared lost, we may offer a replacement or refund, subject to our terms and courier confirmation.
  • Damaged items:
    If your books arrive damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
    • Order number
    • Description of the damage
    • Clear photos of the packaging and damaged items

We will review and advise whether a replacement, partial refund, or other resolution will be offered.


10. Partial Shipments

If an order contains multiple items with different availability dates, we may:

  • Ship all items together once all are in stock, or
  • Ship available items first and back‑order the rest (where feasible)

Details will be shown at checkout or communicated by email.


11. Changes to This Delivery Policy

We may update this Delivery Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to all new orders from the date it is published.
